Canvas is Imperial College London’s new Learning Management System (LMS). The Faculty of Medicine is preparing for the transition from Blackboard and Insendi to Canvas, with support, training and resources available through the LMS Migration Hub.

Contextual Use

Canvas is used to:

Deliver teaching and learning materials
Organise learning through modules and pages
Manage assignments and assessments
Communicate with students
Integrate with tools such as Panopto and H5P
Support online, blended and face-to-face teaching
