Register Reports
There are three types of reporting on registers in MedLearn.
1. Individual Register Report
Clicking on the ‘Attendance’ button will give you the list of students in the group associated with that register.
This page shows all students who attended, did not attend as well as any students that did not attend but had an approved leave request.
You can use the buttons at the top of the table to download the student list to excel, or copy the data if that is preferred.
2. Reports by Group / Module / Department
On the register list, click the ‘Module Report’ button.
Click the group name in grey text and you are taken to the group report page. This report shows all registers tied to this this cohort / groups along with student attendance. You can sort by student name, absent count, or individual register attendance as well as download this data or copy to your clipboard.
3. Reports by category
Each event can be allocated to a category e.g. 2025 Points of Contact. To view a report on all events in a category, click on the ‘Categories’ button on the register list page, and then the View / Download Report button.
FAQs
A student with 'Absent with Reason' means either:
- The student has submitted a leave request and it has been approved
- The student was poorly and submitted an absence form for that date
Please note that absence forms are only valid if they are submitted on the day of the absence.
You can modify the date submitted of an absence submission (e.g. if a student was too poorly to submit on the day) by going to Absence & Leave > All Absence and Leave and searching for that student.
This will show all absence and leave requests, allowing you to edit the date submitted, or any other information about that submission.
